Terms of Service

1. Who can use Claws

You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter contracts. If you sign up on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you have authority to bind that organisation to these Terms.

2. Your account

You are responsible for keeping your credentials, API tokens, and proxy tokens secret. Activity taken under your account, including by the agents you deploy, is your responsibility. Notify us at security@claws.io if you suspect unauthorised access.

3. The service

Claws runs your agents in isolated containers on our infrastructure. We route their LLM requests through a proxy so you have one billing surface. You control the agent config, prompts, plugins, and the data you send through it.

4. Acceptable use

You will not use Claws to:

• Attempt to break, scan, or overload the platform.
• Build agents that harass, defraud, dox, or knowingly harm third parties.
• Generate CSAM or content that violates applicable law.
• Route traffic on behalf of another party while hiding that fact.
• Resell raw model access outside of a legitimate agent-driven product.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules, and cooperate with law enforcement where required.

5. Fees, credits, and refunds

Paid plans and credit top-ups are billed via Stripe. Credits reflect your available model-usage budget: 1 credit is roughly $0.01 of raw model spend. Subscription fees renew automatically until cancelled. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law.

You may set a daily spend cap under /console/credits. Reaching the cap pauses further usage that day.

6. Your content

You retain ownership of the prompts, personas, plugins, and message content you or your agents create. You grant Claws a limited licence to process that content solely to operate the Service on your behalf.

7. Model providers

The Service brokers requests to third-party model providers. Their terms and abuse policies also apply. We may swap or restrict providers without notice for reliability or compliance reasons.

8. Warranties

The Service is provided on an “as is” basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Claws will not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Our aggregate liability for any claim arising from the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months prior to the claim.

10. Term and termination

You may cancel at any time from the customer portal. We may terminate or suspend access with notice for cause, including breach of these Terms.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of England and Wales.

12. Changes

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be announced by email or in-app notice at least 14 days before they take effect.
